aurenz Flex License Model

Overview

The Flex License Model allows you to license extensions exclusively, in contrast to this, with the Standard License Model, all extensions of the TC system must be licensed regardless if they are relevant or not. With the Flex License Model all data from all extensions is saved, but only the explicitly licensed extensions can be evaluated

Affected Products

The Flex licence model is used in the following products:

  • iQueue Pro UC-Analytics
  • iPro UC-Analytics
  • UC-Analytics Flex

Handling

Extensions

In the Flex model, the relevant extensions must be defined by moving from the "Unlicensed" folder, in the organisation chart, into any other folder. Only these extensions that are assigned to a subscriber in the organisation chart will be relevant in the reports. All extensions for which call data has been saved and for which there is no assignment to a subscriber, are displayed in the aurenz organisation chart under the item "Unlicensed" and are ready to be assigned to any subscriber in the organisation chart. The maximum number of extensions that can be assigned to subscribers in to the organisation chart is the actual number of extensions that have been licensed.

To define the relevant extensions please open the organiation chart in the WebSuite and use drag & drop to move the extensions out of the folder "Unlicensed" to any other location in the organisation chart. If you drop the extension a subscriber that owns this extension will be automatically created. Please check the "valid to" date attribute of the created subscriber (open the properties dialog of the subscriber object). As an alternative to the assignment using the drag & drop function, a new subscriber can be created manually in the upper organisational chart area (right-click → "new subscriber". The assignment to the call data is done via the "extension classifier" attribute which must correspond to the internal extension.
